Freed Gallery represents a thoughtfully curated collection of artists from the Pacific Northwest and beyond. We are committed to presenting work of exceptional quality, integrity, and craftsmanship that resonates with our collectors and community.
We welcome submissions from artists whose work aligns with our aesthetic and market.
All submissions are considered through a juried review process.
Submission Guidelines
Please email the following materials to
submissions@freedgallery.com
• 10 to 12 high-quality images of your current body of work
• Title, dimensions, medium, and retail price for each piece
• Artist resume or biographical statement outlining process, technique, education, exhibitions, and gallery representation
Submissions received without pricing or complete materials will not be reviewed.
Please note that we do not accept walk-in portfolio reviews or unsolicited artwork deliveries.
Our Review Process
Our jury evaluates submissions based on:
• Aesthetic quality and originality
• Craftsmanship and technical proficiency
• Cohesion within a current body of work
• Compatibility with our existing artists
• Alignment with our collector demographic
If your work advances in the review process, we will contact you to arrange an in-person presentation of representative pieces.
Due to space considerations and the volume of inquiries we receive, we are only able to add a limited number of new artists each year.
Representation Terms
Freed Gallery operates on a 50 percent commission structure.
Artwork must be priced consistently across all platforms, including your studio and any other galleries representing your work.
Upon entering into representation, Freed Gallery serves as the exclusive representative of the artist within a 50-mile radius of the gallery location.
Artists are responsible for delivery, shipping, and pickup of artwork.
Timeline
Submissions are reviewed on a yearly basis. While we strive to respond within 30 days when possible, response times may vary. We are only able to contact artists whose work is advancing in the review process.
All submissions are retained on file for future consideration.
We appreciate the time, intention, and vulnerability involved in sharing your work and wish you continued success in your creative practice.
Warmly,
Emily and The Freed Team
