Sandra Fraser-Dust
Sandra Fraser-Dust wants her paintings to be a statement in life, taking the viewer beyond ordinary awareness into a creative state of imagination emotionally & intellectually. She has developed a unique style in mixed media & acrylic water media, putting nature into abstract form through her paintings. Originally from Montana, Sandra has lived in the world of art since childhood as her mother was a landscape artist. She attended Montana College in Billings & the University of Colorado in Boulder.
Sandra was elected into membership of the National Society of Painters in Casein & Acrylic & shows annually in their national juried shows in New York city. She is listed in the 1981-82 Edition of American Artists of Renown & has two paintings published in the 1996 Edition of The Best of Acrylic Painting. Her paintings have received numerous awards in both national & regional juried shows. Sandra’s work is included in collections throughout the country as well as Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, CA, First National Bank in Boulder, CO, & Paradise Valley Com. College in Arizona. She had a one woman show in Lansthul, Germany, & her work has been represented by galleries in Montana, Colorado, Arizona & Chicago, Ill.
