Roger was best known for the Old Chicken Farm Art Center and was the driving force for more than 35 years of this very complete and unique center.
As the Old Chicken Farm Art Center became an artists’ haven through the 70’s and a vision for Roger, he taught countless workshops and held annual events throughout the year at the Art Center.
In the 80’s Roger had a bronze foundry and was involved with sculpture and encouraging other artists with his enthusiastic approach. The 90’s brought Roger to a new dimension in his work with the use of color. He created the original story of the Starkeeper, which he illustrated on bright colorful earthenware.
He enjoyed the art process and all the media involved.
We lost Roger after his brave fight with illness. He left a world to Pam to carry on the delight of the Old Chicken Farm.
