Shannon Willis
| Shannon grew up in an artistic family. Both of her parents are artists; her father a sculpture and mother a painter. From them, Shannon learned an appreciation of contemporary art, specific techniques and the importance of high quality craftsmanship. Building on this solid family foundation has inspirited Shannon to developed the mixed media abstract paintings using a variety of collage materials, papers, photos and found "objects" to accomplish her visions. Shannon believes that art is transforming for both the artist and the viewer and should be powerful or compelling as they touch one's soul. |
