Jean Schwalbe

Jean Schwalbe’s bold, energetic approach to painting the Northwest landscape, separates her from many of her contemporaries.  Her paintings reflect recognizable natural Northwest locations without being overly literal.  Skillfully combining her sense of abstraction with a measure of realism, hers is a body of work infused with both energy and a sense of place.  As an award winning and well established artist, Jean has many works in private and public collections.
