With a passion for art as a guiding force, Marlys Mallet launched her artistic career as a teenager in Seattle, Washington, painting murals in Burien General Hospital and in several local restaurants.   Later she studied at the Burnley School of Professional Art and the Cornish School of Allied Arts in Seattle.  Her adventurous spirit and all of the amazing places that she’s been is the driving inspiration for her abstract paintings.
