Jim Willis's abstract sculpture is manly constructed of wood with accents of marble, stone, copper or other metals. He uses animal or landscape forms as his creative staring point while allowing incidents that occur during the process dictate the final look. He believes in being open to new directions that a piece may revel while involved in the creative process.
