Andrea Peyton
| Andrea Peyton's exploration of clay is centered around what the clay will do naturally on it's own. She works a lot with rolled out slabs of clay that stretch, pull, twist and roll to create the forms. She gives the forms expressions, which sometimes result in a humanistic quality. Pieces are textured and finished with oxides, patinas, or wood-fired to enhance the surface qualities. |
