Susan Block
Susan Block will astound you with the magnificence of her horses and figural work.  Susan divides her time between her country home outside of Chicago and Colorado. She is a graduate of Syracuse University and has a Master's degree from the Chicago Art Institute.
"When I find a subject that moves me, I do a lot of drawing and under painting. It takes a good deal of acuity to capture a horse on the hoof, however, my paintings are about more than the central image. I drip, scrape throw and slather my medium--acrylic or oil. My best work happens when I turn off my brain and let the part of me that paints--paint."
